Famous Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has asked the management of Kool FM and Clout Africa to blacklist her music after she did not attend one of their shows.
In a series of posts on X on Thursday, Alade alleged that both platforms have held grudges against him for over a year.
The 35-year-old songstress claimed that they removed her songs from their platform and refused to forgive her even after she apologized for not attending their event.
However, the singer did not provide specific details about the incident or when it happened.
“My God, big pass your hole station @cloutafrica @CoolFMNigeria, keep making gate keeper and keep taking my songs. God be my label and management, we meet for further. Fake people feel like little gods,” he wrote.
“Me, I have no problem. But @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica with their Ogas that is like operation…..Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Shine your eyes”.
“Take a person in exchange for your heart….” 1 year for @cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria Shameful, very shameless.
“Remove my entire catalog from your stations @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica…. God go give me food even now. You are harassing an artist for a whole year regarding your program. I also did not go. I apologized and even called your OGA, but he didn't even respond to my texts.
“From last year December 2023 they are carrying beef……@cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria till December 2024……God keep us alive, hold on to that beef. Fake fake fake people. Badbelly is allowed.”
As of the time of this report, neither Cool FM nor Clout Africa has responded to the allegations.
In July, Alade released her seventh studio album 'Rebel Queen'. Her other projects include 'King of Queen', 'Mama Africa', 'Black Magic', 'Woman of Steel' and 'Empress'.
Since rising to fame with the release of 'Johnny' in 2014, the lyricist has established himself as a household name in the music industry.
Alade enjoys performing his songs in English, Yoruba and French languages.
