Manchester United are eyeing an ambitious move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga next summer, according to Bernabeu Digital.
The Red Devils strengthened their midfield department with the acquisition of Manuel Ugarte. He is expected to play a key role under new boss Ruben Amorim, who previously managed him at Sporting Lisbon.
The likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount could also have important roles under the Portuguese, but reports claim that Casemiro and Christian Eriksen could be shown the exit door by next summer.
A young midfielder could be targeted by the club and Bernabeu Digital claim that the Red Devils have made contact with Camavinga’s camp through intermediaries over the past few days.
Camavinga is aware of the transfer interest from the Mancunian giants. He is flattered by the same, but has no plans of parting ways with Los Blancos.
He only put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal until June 2029 last year and he plans to stay with the European champions for a long period of time.
