One of the oldest monarchs in the country, the Owa of Idanre Kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land, His Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, has joined his forefathers.
Leadership found that the King joined his ancestors at the age of 102.
The Lisa of Idanre land who is the traditional head minister of the town, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, confirmed the demise of the monarch on Wednesday morning.
Oba Aroloye ascended his ancestors' throne in 1976.
According to Akindolire, the necessary traditional rituals are already being conducted at the palace.
