The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) announced that it has achieved crude oil production of 1.8 million barrels per day.
Announcing this on Thursday, NNPCL said it is set to achieve the target of two million barrels per day set by President Bola Tinubu by December 2024.
The petroleum company also revealed that it is now producing 7.4 million standard cubic feet of gas to power gas infrastructure, especially AKK.
This achievement is an improvement from the 6.1 million standard cubic feet achieved by NNPCL earlier in the year.
The state-owned petroleum company also said the achievement, in line with the government's budget, reflects the dedication of all its teams over the past weeks.
