Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has nominated Kasimu Sani Kaura as Commissioner in the state.
Secretary of Zamfara State Government According to a press statement by the Senior Special Assistant (Media) of the SSG Office, Suleiman Ahmed Tudu, (SSG), Abubakar Mohammed Nakwada disclosed this on Thursday.
Mr Nkwada said the appointment is subject to screening and confirmation by the Zamfara State House of Assembly, in accordance with Section 192 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
Recall that former Commissioner for Information, Mannir Muazu Haidara was recently elected and sworn in as the Chairman of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area. The new nominee comes from the same local government area as Mr Haidara, but has not been assigned any portfolio yet. ,
