Meanwhile, the Ogun State Government has described the allegation made by Mr Adebutu against Governor Dapo Abiodun as the screams of a drowning man.
The PDP chieftain had accused Governor Abiodun of his inability to account for local government funds in the last five years.
In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, the Ogun State Government said it was not surprised by the actions of the PDP chieftain, adding that he is currently being investigated by security agencies for electioneering acts . Violence and attempted murder, as he has gained notoriety over the years for making baseless and empty claims that call into question his sanity.
The statement said Mr Adebutu has become like a wounded lion trying to save face after his latest trouble at the hands of security agents on Saturday over electoral malpractices.
The statement said: “We do not find it shocking that a man who aspired to govern Ogun State but was totally rejected by the voters would claim that a governor who is not responsible for the accounts of the local government He wasted N214 billion of council funds in five years.
“This means, conceptually, that the said local governments paid no salaries and executed no projects in those five years, and that says a lot about a gubernatorial candidate whose own running mate Called it a complete disaster.
“If Ladi Adebutu, a child with an adult body, knows anything about the art of governance, let alone the activities of the Ogun State Government under Prince Dapo Abiodun, he would not be able to tolerate such trivial, hollow and Jaejun may not be accusing.
“The fact is that Governor Abiodun never touched a penny of LG funds in Ogun State, but Adebutu has to entertain his crowd.
“It has become quite characteristic of this devious character that whenever he is called upon for his rich biography of crimes he lies against Governor Abiodun with devilish zeal.
For example, the fact is well known that apart from his recent case, he is on trial for vote buying and conspiracy, and was a fugitive in a foreign land for months before returning home in complete disgrace.

“Ladi Adebutu is a sunken clown who believes that he can achieve through mobbing and blackmail what he could not achieve through electoral and court processes where he can defeat a popular democratically elected governor. Failed in his desperate and disastrous attempt to remove him from office.
“He is a master of accusations and name-calling, but where enterprise, dignity and discipline are required, he is a complete failure. He is desperate to remain relevant and in the news at all costs and those who take him seriously need an evaluation, just as he himself needs a mental evaluation.
“Adebutu, accused of sending thugs to snatch ballot papers during the local council elections on Saturday, openly said in a video being circulated that he has no objection to a violent altercation.
“He is a sinking ship looking to take someone to hell with him and right-thinking people should ignore this completely.”
