The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) says it has achieved production of 1.8 million barrels of crude oil per day following sustained expulsion of pipeline breakers and crude oil thieves.
Chief Production War Room Officer, NNPC Limited, Lawal Musa, stated this during a briefing on production of NNPC Limited in Abuja on Thursday.
Mr Musa, who is also the Senior Business Advisor to the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC Limited, Mele Kyari, said the achievement was based on the collaboration between the leadership of NNPC, stakeholders and security agencies.

“We achieved this because of the clear mandate given by President Bola Tinubu to increase crude oil production in the country,” Mr Musa said.
